Our clients purchased a charming and unconventional farm on Orcas Island, complete with its own train station and a mile of functioning tracks. We transformed the old station into a bright, inviting family workspace that includes a spacious art studio that also serves as a homeschool room, along with a dedicated work-from-home office. Thoughtful color blocking and strategic lighting played a key role in bringing new life and light into what was once a very dark space.

The office space, for an author and innovator, is directly connected to the home school room and looks out to the nearby garden.

The homeschool space is constantly evolving with the art and inherent playful personality of the family's youngest creator.
